I have adult acne and I wear a lot of base and cover up. These are both really hard to remove at night and my face always feels dirty. I’ve tried foaming washes and makeup remover towelettes. They never truly get my face clean. I also feel like my face has been stripped of all moisture. I was looking to try something new when I received a sample of the Bare Minerals Oil Obsessed. I tried it out and it seemed to give me better results. However, I couldn’t afford the price tag. I decided to find a cheaper ...

As a woman in her 30’s I am not pleased with having acne. Adult acne is tough to treat so I’ve ran myself through the gambit of just about everything that I can afford. My list is getting short but I’m not giving up. A friend of mine suggested the Philosophy Clear Days Ahead system so here I go… Recommended routine: Morning- Use Clear Days Ahead oil-free salicylic acid acne treatment on damp face. Next apply Clear Days Ahead moisturizer. Evening- Use Clear Days Ahead overnight salicylic acid pads on clean face. Next apply Clear Days Ahead moisturizer. As needed- Use ...

Paying 1.3% APY with no monthly fee and no minimum balance required to open an account, this was the logical choice for me when I was looking to start saving. I am just out of college and my first job doesn't pay a ton but when I do have some extra money I like to make sure that I save some of it. There isn't an app yet which can be a bit of a pain but it's not the end of the world. There is an ATM card, which many online banks don't have, which makes it a ...

With an APY of 1.5% and no minimum balance required to open an account, I set out to learn more about Dollar Savings Direct. After a bit of online sleuthing, I opted to NOT open an account and recommend that others do the same. It turns out that Dollar Savings is a part of Emigrant Bank who is known for some practices that are less than optimal. They have been known to pull a bait and switch with their rates and the last time I checked the account that previously advertised a rate of 1.5% is now paying 1.0%. ..

We have always relied on Credit Unions for our banking, which is a holdover from my father who was a utility employee. Our local branch does not have the best rate for their savings account and I decided to look at some other options. I was thrilled to find out about Alliant, which is another credit union, and their quite healthy 1.25% APY and the minimum balance to open of $5. Even better, they offer ATM cards which is always handy in an emergency. The website is very robust and digital banking has never been more pleasant of an ...

I live in New York and while I don't work in finance, I am familiar with how much of a powerhouse Goldman Sachs is. I was surprised that their savings accounts do not require a minimum balance and do not charge any transaction fees. They pay 1.3% APY on all deposits. One drawback is the lack of an ATM card which can be a hassle, but it also helps me to better save my money! If I were to have a financial emergency I could access my funds via wire transfer or electronic transfer. Overall, I am okay with ...
