Read on to compare prices, specs, and features of the best new options from Cadillac’s lineup!
The 2021 CT5-V is the Cadillac of Cadillacs. It is racetrack-ready monster with more power than you would ever need. Still, it is pretty cool to always have more than you need. This version starts at $86,000 and can get to almost $100,000 with a lot of extras. It has a 6.2 liter, supercharged V8 that cranks out 640 horsepower and 630 foot-pounds of torque. GM says it will get to 60 in less than four seconds, and it has a top-speed rating of 200 MPH. It has heavy sports suspension and brakes, heavy-duty tires, and magnetic ride control. There is an optional kit that will add even more grip and performance to this car.
The 2021 CT6 V-Sport is one of two newer models in the latest Cadillac lineup. It is a high-performance version of the full-sized CT6 Sedan. It is not quite the car the CTS-V is, but it is close. The CT6 V-Sport price is expected to be in the $66,000 range to start. The standard CT6 starts at just over $50,000. It has a 4.2 liter twin-turbo V8 that cranks out 550 horsepower. The engine is built at the Corvette plant and has some of the same genetic builds. This model does not have some of the automatic features, like automatic parking, but it is based more around performance than luxury or convenience. It sports 20-inch wheels with high-performance tires.
The XT4 crossover was introduced in 2018 and comes back strong for 2021. Marketed to younger people with young families, this crossover starts at $35,000, which is one of the lower cost Cadillacs, and the top of the line version goes four around $40,000. It is slightly smaller than the best selling XT5 but is making inroads in the public mind. It is a compact luxury crossover, which seems to fit the brand nicely. For 2021, a super-cruiser driver technology has been added and is available for about $5,000 more. It runs on a four-cylinder turbocharged engine and cranks out 238 horsepower.
For years, Cadillac’s stellar lineup has been missing a third-row crossover. That changes with the new 2021 XT6, a stylish new crossover SUV that’s packed with technology, comfort and versatility. Wider and taller than the XT5, the new XT6 boasts a 3.6-liter V6 engine that pumps out 310 horsepower along with a nine-speed automatic transmission. Feature highlights include adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, an 8-inch touchscreen interface, leather upholstery, wireless phone charging, and more. With a starting price at just over $50,000, the XT6 will be a vehicle to watch for years to come.
