2023 Nissan Rogue Combines Affordability With a Spacious Cabin

The Nissan Rogue first appeared in 2008 and since then, has gradually grown in popularity, becoming one of the most popular crossover SUVs in its class. It's primarily known for its affordability and its roomy cabin, both solid selling points for customers looking at a new family vehicle that is capable of performing both on and off the road.

This year the Rogue introduces new technology that makes it even more fun to drive. Both safety and infotainment options make the Nissan Rogue great for anyone looking for a new vehicle. Here are just a few of the top features and specs if you are looking at buying a new SUV this year.

While at times, a newer Nissan Rogue can take a minute to accelerate (although if you aren’t a racecar driver, you are not likely to notice), it offers great handling and a tight suspension which means so long as you don’t live in potholes you are in for an even and smooth ride. It also features some great seats with a lot of padding and plenty of foot room for pretty much everyone to sprawl out and enjoy the ride.

Another notable point is that the Nissan Rogue offers some fun technological integration that other compact SUVs skip over, such as Apple CarPlay and Amazon Alexa connectivity. Drivers should be warned, however, that the infotainment system is not the most responsive when it comes to voice commands. However, if you can adapt to using the touchscreen, that is of little concern.

While it is not known for its sporty design, it offers a peppy engine when driving at city speeds. As noted, the only major issue is that you can and will hear the engine while accelerating to get on the highway, but that's a small disadvantage for the power it has to offer.

Curious about the changes this year? Those who pay attention to the trim options will notice that the new 2023 model offers a Midnight Edition package that includes black exterior accents. Amazon Alexa is also a new premium option for Platinum and SL trims.

Outside of that, most drivers will not notice a significant difference between the 2022 and the 2023 Nissan Rogue models. However, when compared to older models, the biggest difference is the upgraded powertrain that entered the market in 2022. Add that to the stronger engine that was redesigned in 2021 along with the enhanced suspension, and the 2023 Nissan Rogue offers one of the best designs yet.
