Apple has also introduced an action mode for the rear cameras that adjusts to significant motion, shakes, and vibrations, resulting in higher quality and smoother videos. Unlike the iPhone 13, whose cinematic mode could record up to 1080P at 30 fps, the new iPhone 14's cinematic mode can record up to 4K at 24 fps and 4K at 30 fps.
Another feature Apple has introduced with the iPhone 14 lineup is direct-to-satellite connectivity. This allows users to send messages through the satellites orbiting the earth even when they are not within range of the traditional cell towers. However, they have limited that service for emergencies because it can only support low-data transmissions.
