History of Toilet paper and It's Use

Toilet Paper is used all over the world. Tissue paper has been around since ancient times, and it is currently a readily available household product. The first recorded use of tissue paper was in China during the Han Dynasty (206 BC – 220 AD). It was made from hemp and linen. In Europe, the Romans used cloths or leaves to clean themselves after defecating. During the Middle Ages, people would use their hands to wipe themselves, but they started using sheets of paper for that purpose during this period.

Tissue paper is usually made out of cellulose fibers, which are derived from wood pulp. The wood pulp comes from trees that have been cut down. Cellulose fibers are washed, bleached, and dried before being pressed into rolls. When making tissue paper, pressing the cellulose fibers together makes them stronger and more durable than when they are loose. This also makes the tissue paper softer and smoother.

John Hogg manufactured the first commercially produced tissue paper in 1879. He began selling his product at the Great Exhibition in London. Since then, many companies have developed different types of tissue paper. These include Kleenex, Scott, Charmin, Cottonelle, and Tushie.

The most common tissue paper today is “soft” tissue paper. Soft tissue paper is usually made from recycled materials such as old newspapers, cotton linens, and tree-free cellulose. These products don’t contain any animal products like wool or silk. They are also free of chemicals and dyes. Soft tissue paper can be found in stores everywhere.

Another popular tissue paper form is “super soft” tissue paper. Super soft tissue paper is made from 100% virgin wood pulp. It contains no chemical additives and is entirely free of chlorine. It is also biodegradable. Super soft tissue paper can be found at some grocery stores.

There are also other forms of tissue paper, including “luxury” tissue paper, “novelty” tissue paper, and “hybrid” tissue paper. Luxury tissue paper is made from high-quality natural ingredients. Novelty tissue paper is made from novelty items such as plastic bags, cardboard boxes, and wrapping paper. Hybrid tissue paper is made from both recycled and virgin materials.

In conclusion, tissue paper is an essential part of our everyday lives. We use it daily to clean ourselves after going to the bathroom. Most people employ tissue paper because it is convenient and easy. However, there are many alternatives.
