Volkswagen recently announced the introduction of its new electric vehicle lineup, the ID. The upcoming range of VW’s EVs has caused a great deal of excitement within the electric vehicle industry. With a start of impressive features, the ID offers much to the consumer.

This electric vehicle has been designed with efficiency and cost-effectiveness in mind. It will boast a powerful 80-kilowatt-hour (kWh) battery capable of producing around 200 miles of range when fully charged. The battery is also optimized to ensure it will last through five years or 150,000 miles of use. In addition, the car will also feature fast charging capabilities and will be able to charge up to an 80% battery level in 30 minutes.

The ID will provide maximum convenience with its smartphone integration system and voice assistance. The phone integration system allows the user to control certain features via their smartphone, for example, climate control and navigation. The voice-controlled system will enable the user to command the car to do a number of things, from setting navigation routes to increasing the temperature.

The Volkswagen ID will also come packed with a range of safety features, such as automated emergency braking system and a driver monitoring system. The emergency braking system will stop the car if it detects an imminent collision or if it detects any other emergency situation. The driver monitoring system will alert the driver if they are likely to fall asleep or if they are straying out of their lane.
