Unfortunately, metastatic breast cancer cannot be cured, but treatment can help reduce symptoms and slow the progression of the disease. Treatment may include surgery, radiation, chemotherapy, targeted therapies, and hormone therapy. In addition, supportive care may be recommended to help manage symptoms and side effects.

Living with metastatic breast cancer can be difficult and frightening, but it is possible to maintain quality of life with the right treatment and support.
