Exciting New Changes for the 2020 Audi Lineup

Audi is the pinnacle of German engineering, providing power, speed, comfort, and - above all - luxury. From two-door coupe to their third-row crossover, each Audi has been meticulously designed. This innovative automaker has a view toward the future, refreshing their flagship vehicles and developing new electric vehicles that do not sacrifice power or luxury. Ready to find out what's new from this automaker? Read on to find out the latest innovations for the 2020 Audi lineup of vehicles.

Starting with what Audi is known for, the 2020 Audi R8. Since it arrived in 2006, the R8 has become one of the most popular vehicles for drivers who want the ultimate in luxury, power, and performance. The R8 Coupe and Spyder have recently undergone makeovers, with updated exterior stylings and offering only their trademark 5.2-liter V10 engine (with 562 hp and 406 lb-ft torque) and getting rid of the optional V8 previously available. All vehicles come with Quattro all-wheel drive, and can max out north of 200 miles per hour. There's also been a bump in price, with the R8 Coupe now at $170,000 from $140,000, and the Spyder now priced between $185,000 and $210,000.

While Audi has improved its flagship R8, this automaker has also looked back while moving forward. The 2020 Audi A8 Horch is a full-size luxury sedan with its roots in World War II. Audi is currently reviving the brand to take on Maybach and Mercedes, outfitting it with one oft the biggest and most impressive engines available: the W12, which can produce over 600 horsepower. If the W12 doesn't make it stateside, Audi will outfit the Horch with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine. Depending on the tech and luxury packages chosen, drivers can expect to pay in the mid-$100k for the new A8 Horch.

One of the coolest and stylish sports cars offered by Audi is the RS5. This coupe has been updated, making the exterior cooler than ever. Competing directly with the BMW M4, the 2020 Audi RS5 goes from 0 to 60 in 3.7 seconds from a 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 engine that pumps out 444 horsepower and 443 pound-feet of torque. The transmission is also new, while the Quattro all-wheel drive system remains the same. The price for this sporty coupe stays just under $70,000, which is impressive for a vehicle of this caliber.

The 2020 e-tron GT is an innovative take on the all-electric sedan. One of the most remarkable details about the e-tron GT is the speed at which it can be charged. Similar to the ultra-fast charging system found in the Porsche Taycan, the e-tron GT uses an 800-volt battery system and 350 kW charging which will allow it to fill the battery up to 80 percent in just 20 minutes or so. The range of the 2020 Audi e-tron GT is estimated to be between 200 and 250 miles.
