The Pacific Princess offers a relaxing vacation where we truly could get away from it all. It is a smaller ship, so guests get a lot of attention and service. The embarkation process was smooth and our luggage arrived in a timely manner. Our cabin was great, especially because we got a room with a balcony. We spent a lot of time out there, watching the sea and sky change as we sailed. There was plenty of on-board entertainment, including a passenger talent show that was hilarious. One of the best parts of this ship was that it was the original “Love Boat” on the TV series, which played on closed circuit TV, and was so fun to watch. Being sensitive to gluten and lactose, I had a hard time with food on the ship. We ran into some issues with confirmation about my food issues being accommodated, so I ended up bringing some of my basics to use on the cruise. Otherwise, the buffet selections were great.
