Stylishly simple and cheaper than the competition, the LG G6 is an attractive smartphone that's light on gimmicks and heavy on utility. The G6 has a taller 5.7-inch screen with an 18:9 aspect ratio just like you'll see on other LG models. The screen does a fine job of displaying sharp, colorful images, but you might not like the black bars that appear at the top or bottom of your screen while watching videos or using apps -- this is a necessary evil because of the phone's slender shape. The phone's design is stylish, but just short of innovative. Also, the phone isn't available in many colors. But it does feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset while packing either 4GB or 6GB of RAM. One of the G6's two built-in cameras also features a wide-angle lens that invites all kinds of interesting photo opps. If you're on the prowl for a new phone, you can't go wrong with the LG G6, even though it lacks some perks of the newest smartphones.
