I have brown eyes and short eyelashes. While getting a microdermabrasion, my beautician told me about Latisse. So I bought some from her office. That night after taking a shower, I put some on the base of my upper eyelashes. It’s very easy to apply. It looks like mascara but with a brush. I think I may have put too much on because it kind of stung. Also while in bed, my eyes kept getting watery.

After using this product for a week, I noticed that my eyes are dry, itchy, and my eyelids are a little pink. I have been putting it on the base of my upper lashes every night before bed. It makes my eyes water and I wake up with crusty eyes in the morning. :(

But today I was told by a friend to put it on in the morning before I put on my makeup. I will try that starting tomorrow.

Putting the serum on in the morning works ways better! No more crusty eyes in the morning! Although my eyes are still dry and itchy… morning works better than putting it on at night. My eyelids are still a little pink too.

I have been using Latisse on and off for about a month. I do see my eyelashes getting longer but it’s not fuller. I am going to stop using the product though because it is making my eyes dry, itchy, red, and swollen. I am going back to getting eyelash extensions. I heard that you can use Latisse while getting the extensions but I will try a different brand. Oh and since my eyes are brown, I did not see a discoloration of my eye color while using this product.
