Our first cruise was on the Grandeur of the Seas 9 Nights Bahamas cruise, and we went because we got a screaming deal at $499 per person. This vacation was unforgettable! While we loved our time on the shore excursions - lounging on the Caribbean beaches - we weren’t hurting for stuff to do onboard the ship. We had a relaxing time at the Vitality Spa an the adults-only pool, and spent some time playing in the Casino Royale casino. The service was incredible, whether we were dining in one of the restaurants or getting our many questions answered. ..

My wife and I are avid cruisers now that we are retired and the Caribbean route is one of our favorites and Holland America one of our favorite cruise lines. With stops in Half Moon Cay, St. Thomas, and St. Kitts the itinerary is a good one. One of the best aspects of a Holland America cruise is the food and the activities, both on-shore and aboard the ship. The Vendeem is a classic HAL vessel that still retains its charm although it is older. We really enjoy the outdoor films at the Retreat on Deck 11. This is ...

When my divorce was finalized I felt utterly depleted and just wanted to get away. While I didn't feel up to traveling on my own, a cruise felt like the perfect way to get away and feel safe. The ship departed from Miami and made stops at some of the less visited islands that still had a lot of charm even when this huge cruise ship was in port. We visited Labadee, Curacao, Bonaire, and the ever-popular Aruba. Royal Caribbean is a good, solid cruise line and the ship was probably what I would describe as upper-adequate. The entertainment ...

We surprised our 10-year old twins with a Disney cruise and the entire family had a total blast! The ship departs out of Galveston and makes stops in Key West, Castaway Cay, and Nassau. It was our first cruise ever and we were a little concerned about being on the ship for a week, especially during the days at sea. Well, I can tell you that we loved every minute of our Disney cruise! Our daughter could not get enough of the Frozen Music Spectacular and the children's activities were really great. The features that we appreciated the most ...

My amazing husband surprised me for our 25th wedding anniversary with this cruise from Fort Lauderdale. It was less than $1,000pp and I have to tell you, I was very impressed! we stopped in Antigua, Barbados, St. Lucia, and Martinique. The Celebrity Reflection is the largest of the Solstice class that Celebrity offers and it is amazing! The solarium was perfect for relaxing and enjoying one of Jose's amazing margaritas! The onboard entertainment is top notch and we are giving serious consideration to doing another Celebrity cruise next year. If you are looking to be pampered and traveling amidst ...

We recently traveled on Jewel of the Seas 7 Nights Southern Caribbean cruise. It was a great deal with an oceanview room at only $450 per person. As a couple, we weren’t jazzed about spending time with families, but there were plenty of places set aside for adults only. The Solarium, bars, lounges, and the casino offered plenty of grown-up entertainment. When we were ready to play, we had a ton of fun at the rock climbing wall, the golf simulator, and the self-leveling pool tables. The nightly entertainment was amazing and worth the time, and was especially welcome ...

Priced at only $443 per person, we jumped at the chance to cruise from China to main ports of call in Japan on the Quantum of the Seas 7 Nights Asia cruise. It is clear that this ship is well maintained, and there’s plenty of stuff to do for adults and kids. We loved the sky-diving experience, surf simulator, rock climbing wall, and bumper cars during our days cruising between ports. We left the kids with the youth team to enjoy different programs and were able to enjoy the adults-only parts of the ship, like the solarium pool and ...

The Celebrity Reflection Caribbean cruise is the cruise line’s newest and largest ship, and it really sets itself apart. This cruise was great for our family, with plenty of activities for the adults and kids to choose from. The Game On center had a bunch of flat-screen table games, and we all loved the zip lines, rock climbing walls, and bumper cars. The pool was also awesome, with plenty of room and chairs for everyone to get comfortable. Whenever we were hungry, we headed to one of the 13 restaurants, and we could all choose what we wanted. Our ...

The Viking Sea Caribbean cruise does not disappoint. The staff was attentive and friendly without being overbearing. It was a relief not to have somebody trying to sell us stuff all the time. On other ships, there have been limitations with what drinks are offered with dinner, but with Viking, we had beer, wine, and soft drinks with both lunch and dinner every day. Plus, the food was excellent no matter where we decided to eat on board the ship. The pace of life on the Caribbean cruise was perfect, and there was plenty of entertainment and shore excursions ...

I was skeptical about the Seabourn Odyssey at first because it is a smaller ship that I had not heard of before. I was beyond impressed with the top-notch customer service and the space we had on the ship since every cabin is a suite. Embarking was a breeze, and we were greeted with complimentary Champagne. While there are only four restaurants on board, there are still plenty of choices, from casual poolside fare and the upscale grill. The nightly entertainment is elegant and, and the amenities are fun, like water sports, hot tubs, a fitness center, a nine-hole ...
